The ankle is a weight-bearing joint which allows for plantarflexion and dorsiflexion function of the foot. Eversion and inversion does not exist at the ankle joints as it is only a hinged, synovial joint. In order to limit eversion and inversion of the ankle a comprehensive group of ligaments together creates stabilization for normal day-to-day activities. This course will demonstrate anatomy, illustrate the function, classify ankle fractures and analyze ankle MRI and radiographs to help radiologic technologists be able to identify ankle ligaments and pathology on diagnostic MR and radiography.

Hi there! My name is Neil Huber. Pulse was founded to help R.T.'s advance in the field of radiology by engaging in formal structured education programs via the internet. As we know, working hard and engaging ourselves do not necessarily translate into promotions at work. The reason is because we need to get certified to advance in our field. The major problem is there are limited-to-no solutions that provide schedules that work best for R.T.'s. Pulse provides a chance to R.T.'s develop their didactic and clinical skills, prepare for ARRT registry exams and advance in their career. We hope you enjoy your experience! Feel free to reach out whenever, from wherever!
